Core MembersWilliam Fraser (MIDI accordion and caller)
William, from Canisbay by John O’ Groats, is accordionist and dance caller in the band. He had lessons for a time from world-renowned Scottish accordionist Gordon Pattullo of Coupar Angus. His accordion playing has featured on the recent BBC 2 Documentary ‘Monty Halls’ Great Escape’ His calling ensures the audience know the steps to each dance.
David Purves (Fiddle)
Dave, from Edinburgh, is fiddler in the band. He gained a Music Scholarship in High School and is a more than able deputy on drums should the need arise.
Daniel Sheldrick (Drums)
Danny, from Tayinloan Argyll, is the bands drummer. He is a multi-talented musician, and sung in the top University Acapella Group in Scotland.
Like most ceilidh bands, the line up can be fluid due to touring or other musical commitments from the band members.
